The Vitalitae range of dog treats contain hemp seed oil and hemp seed which are the new superfoods. Hemp has been known to provide health benefits for many thousands of years, but it is only recently, following changes to regulations that it has been permitted to be added to both human and pet foods. Hemp seed oil consists of 85% essential fatty acids including omega 3 and 6 acids in the ideal ratio, and has a rich mineral profile including magnesium, zinc, iron. It also contains amino acids and proteins.
Vitalitae focuses on the five major areas of concern for dogs, which are: Skin & Coat,Calming, Digestion, Hip & Joint, and Immunity & Defence. Specific treatments are created by blending hemp seed oil with other superfood ingredients such as turmeric, ginger, chamomile, tryptophan, chondroitin, EPA & DHA and glucosamine.
