Aussie Dog began in 1992 when Joe Parsons wanted a dog friendly Frisbee for his Blue Heeler. The only Frisbees available at that time became brittle with UV exposure and caused gum injuries. Joe decided to produce a dog friendly disc that would not become brittle. The next product was dog safe, puncture proof ball. Balls that are not specifically designed for dogs can cause great damage internally and even death if punctured, chewed and ingested.

Aussie Dog now has over thirty pet products that all conform to strict design principles. Firstly, each product must be safe, non-toxic, and durable. Secondly, that product must stimulate a dog’s natural instincts of taste, smell, noise, touch and sight.
