The original Black Hawk recipe was developed in Australia by a passionate breeder who simply wanted food for their dog that improved health, happiness and longevity.

Only ingredients that had a nutritional benefit were included and all of the those that didn’t were removed. Other breeders quickly noticed that the Black Hawk recipe produced shinier coats and happier, healthier dogs. The Black Hawk success story was passed from owner to owner by word of mouth. Subsequently, the Black Hawk brand has been acquired by Masterpet who have a commitment for real pet food and they have maintained the same care and attention in providing the finest real ingredients for all Black Hawk branded products.
