Hikari Food Sticks is an ideal diet for top-feeding Carnivores such as Arowana. The optimally balanced nutrient mix helps maximize growth. Carnivorous fish prefer live foods. However, live food can introduce disease, parasites and bacteria in to the home aquarium. Developed after extensive study and analysis, Hikari Food Sticks are a completely nutritious diet for carnivorous fish. The highly digestible nutrient mix rapidly absorbs water and takes on a soft, live-food consistency without dissolving. This helps to reduce waste and aquarium water clouding, common with other floating stick type foods. The inclusion of DL-methionine and L-lysine in the formula ensures a palatability and acceptance rate equivalent to live food.
By utilising the latest advances in bio-technology, Hikari has been able to identify and include the highest grade of colour enhancing ingredients to support year round colour retention in UV deficient environments.
