Hikari Marine – A – is a uniquely balanced and highly palatable, sinking daily diet for all types of larger herbivorous marine fish. The sponge-like texture duplicates foods that marine fish would be feeding on in the wild. Specially formulated to provide a high protein, nutrient rich diet that includes essential fatty acids, seaweed meal and pure-cultured spirulina for optimum health and colouration.
The easily digested formula helps reduce waste output thereby helping to maintain water quality.
Please note that owing to the high level of natural ingredients, there may be a slight variation in pellet colour with each production batch.
Feeding
Prior to feeding, Hikari Marine – A – should be soaked in a cup of purified fresh water for a few minutes. This enables the pellets to become soft and sponge-like. A significant additional benefit of this process is that the fish, by ingesting the fresh water contained within the pellet, will require less energy in purging salt from their systems thereby allowing more energy to be directed towards growth and colour development.
Feed two to three times each day. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding. Only use the amount your fish will completely consume within a few minutes.
