The world renowned animal psychologist, Dr Roger Mugford, founded The Company of Animals in 1979 as a vehicle to sell his inventions under the brand Halti.
The Company is based in Surrey, England which is also home to the Training and Behavior Centre that specialises in all levels of dog training It also provides behavior consultations on veterinary referral, as well as resolving legal issues about pets. The Company of Animals constantly researches and develops new products to help resolve pet-related behavior and training problems and has a base to test new designs and principles of animal training.
The primary drive of The Company of Animals has been to develop products that help owners and their pets find an enriched life and to improve animal welfare. The first and most famous product to be developed was the Halti headcoller, designed and developed by Roger Mugford. The Company of Animals now supplies distributors in over 30 different countries.
