Halti Optifit Headcollar

Description

The original Halti Headcollar was world renowned animal psychologist, Dr. Roger Mugford’s first invention and was the first non-pull headcollar for dogs.  The Halti range is popular in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Halti Headcollars utilise the same principle as using a halter to lead a horse.  They work by gently controlling the direction of movement by steering the dog’s head in the direction in which the owner wants to go.  This ensures a comfortable walking experience for all.

The Halti Optifit Headcollar has a unique design that is a highly effective and gentle way to stop dogs from pulling on the lead.  The  adjustable noseband and cheek straps ensures an optimal fit on a wide range of nose shapes. With its cushioned noseband, this headcollar is designed to be very comfortable while in use.

A strong safety clip on the front of the headcollar attaches to your dog’s neck collar during walks to keep you in control at all times. The reflective cheek straps provide walking safety in low light visibility.

The Optifit design is not suitable for flat-nosed dogs such as bulldogs, boxers and pugs.

For ideal no pull walking and training, the headcollar can be paired with the Halti Training Lead. This dual-clip lead attaches to both the Optifit Headcollar and your dog’s neck collar for improved control and easier training.
