Hikari Turtle Sticks are a floating, daily diet for all aquatic turtles. The sticks quickly absorb water and soften, whilst retaining their original shape. Being easily digestible, uneaten and partially digested food is minimised, thereby maintaining water quality. The scientifically designed formula contains three distinctly coloured sticks:
Yellow – contains high quality proteins, minerals and multi-vitamins to help promote growth and well-being
Green – is calcium enhanced to support shell development.
Red – contains chitosan extracted from crustaceans to support metabolism, immune system and healthy skin.
Feeding
Feed one or two times daily. Care should be taken to avoid over-feeding. Only use the amount that will be consumed completely in 2 – 3 minutes. Uneaten food should then be removed to maintain water quality.
A few sticks may be offered intermittently throughout the day as a treat.
